ENDING TRIPPLE THREAT SUCCESS STORY

Participating in the HEDSO and Zipline Kenya event, "Ending Triple Threats Youth Engagement," has been a life-changing journey for me. This initiative's focus on tackling the triple threats of SGBV, new HIV infections, and teenage pregnancies using football as a mobilization tool is nothing short of remarkable. Through their tireless efforts, I have not only witnessed a transformation in myself but also in the community of Nyakach sub-county.

One of the most impactful aspects of this program for me has been the accessibility to crucial sexual and reproductive health services. I have received HIV testing services, accessed Prep and PEP, and received condoms, all of which have empowered me to make informed choices about my health. Additionally, the clinic reviews have provided me with regular check-ups and a sense of security in knowing that I am taking proactive steps to protect myself. The chat corners, where we receive accurate information on these triple threats, have further enriched my knowledge, enabling me to be an advocate for change in my community.

As a beneficiary of this program, I am not only grateful for the tangible services I've received but also for the broader impact it has had on me. I have not only benefited personally but have become an agent of change within Nyakach sub-county, sharing my knowledge and experiences to help combat these pressing issues. The "Ending Triple Threats Youth Engagement" event has not only transformed my life but also ignited a passion within me to be a positive force for change, and for that, I would like to appreciate HEDSO and ZIPLINE KENYA for bringing such services to the young people like us who fear going to the hospitals because of STIGMA and CONFIDENTIALITY issues within those facilities. I will forever be thankful.
